Infants: Building Trust and Connection

You’ll feel the bond as you sing softly and share simple musical moments with your baby. Those tender smiles, the way your baby tunes in to your voice, the comfort in your rhythm - this is how trust begins.

In class, we use eye contact, steady beats, and cuddly songs to help your baby feel safe and loved. These early experiences build a foundation for emotional security and lifelong attachment.

Sing while you rock or change a diaper.
Gently tap your baby’s hands or feet to the beat.
Smile and make eye contact — your baby is soaking in every note.

Toddlers: Discovering Feelings and Independence

Your toddler’s favorite word might be “me” or "no" and that’s actually really wonderful! Through music, your child begins to express who they are (sometimes loudly, sometimes softly!) and these are important steps in their growth!

You’ll watch as your child dances with confidence, experiments with rhythm, and celebrates little “I did it!” moments. Each beat and giggle is helping them understand their emotions and how to express them.

💡 Try this at home:

Offer choices: “Should we use the drum or the bells today?”
Dance together and let your toddler lead.
Ask, “How does that song make you feel?”

Preschoolers: Learning to Cooperate and Connect

Preschoolers are all about friendship and teamwork. In class, you’ll see your child taking turns, sharing instruments, and creating music together with others.

These experiences teach empathy, patience, and the joy of belonging. You’ll feel proud as your child learns how to be part of a group and watch them grow into a caring little friend.

Have “family band time.” Take turns keeping the beat.
Praise your child when they share or wait their turn.
Sing call-and-response songs (“Echo me!” style).
