Studio Classes

Smaller Class Sizes

Connecting with others makes our community so special and we know it's one of the big reasons you've decided to join our classes. We also know infants, toddlers, and young children are hard-wired to explore, engage, and connect with their environments. In an effort to provide comfortable spacing for all families in class, our class sizes for Foundations-Level 2 have been reduced by 20% (maximum of 10 children) and Levels 3-5 have a maximum of 8 children in each class.

Masks

At this time masks are optional for adults and children.

Air Purifiers

Both classrooms have new, oscillating air purifiers.

Sanitation

Each classroom will be equipped with a sanitation station to include hand sanitizer, tissues, sanitary wipes, gloves, paper towels, and a used instrument bin (for instruments that might become extra soiled and need to be replaced during an activity). As always, your educators will sanitize every instrument used in class. Additionally, all common surfaces will be cleaned.

Food Allergies

Due to known food allergies within the studio, we ask that all snacks be finished prior to entering the classroom. Water, forumla, and nursing are always welcome.

Register Early:

We love welcoming new families and can’t wait to share the joy of music with you! Priority registration is offered to currently enrolled studio families. All classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis through our online registration system. While you may join at any time, we encourage early registration as class sizes are limited and tend to fill quickly. A minimum of four students is required to hold a class. In the rare event a class is canceled, we’ll do our best to help you find an alternative time that works for your family.

Billing:

Tuition Structure:

  • Our summer session is billed separately from the academic year.

  • The 2025–26 Academic Year runs from September 2, 2025, to May 16, 2026.

  • May tuition is prorated at 50% to reflect the shortened month.

  • Tuition includes weekly classes and digital home materials from Kindermusik International.

  • Monthly tuition is charged automatically on the 1st of each month from September through May.

While tuition is billed monthly, the number of classes may vary due to holidays. Our academic calendar is designed to evenly balance instruction across the year, including scheduled breaks for Thanksgiving, winter, and spring.

Make Up Classes:

We understand that families have busy schedules! While missed classes due to illness, travel, or other events are not deducted from tuition, make-up classes are unlimited while you're enrolled. Make-ups can be scheduled anytime during the current season, but cannot be credited or rolled over into a future season. For example, make-ups from February must be used before summer camp begins.

Joining a class mid-month? Welcome! Your first month's tuition will be prorated to reflect this.

Payment & Registration:
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express for tuition payments. A non-refundable registration fee is required to secure your child’s spot in class and must be paid at the time of registration.

Late Payments:
Payments are due by the 10th of each month. Any payment received after the 10th will incur a $20 late fee per month.

If you need assistance with billing or payment updates, please reach out to us- we’re happy to help!

Discounts:

Families enrolling siblings in the same class will receive a $10 sibling discount (applied by our administrative team). This discount applies to Digital Home Materials only and does not apply to the physical materials included in Musicians classes.

Class Withdrawal:

Your spot is always saved for you while enrolled, but if you need to discontinue your enrollment at any time, just let us know in writing (email or text) at least a week before the 1st of the new month to avoid incurring charges for the new month. If you decide to re-enroll at a later time during the session, a $15 re-enrollment fee will be applied to your account.

Non-Discrimination:

We are proud to offer a welcoming and inclusive environment for all families.

Overton Music Studios does not discriminate based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, political beliefs, ability, age, or national origin. Every child and caregiver deserves a safe and respectful place to grow through music.

Happy & Healthy Guidelines:

To ensure a safe and joyful experience for all:

  • Adults and children must use hand sanitizer before class (per Kindermusik International guidelines).

  • Please stay home if your child has had a fever or loose stools in the past 24 hours or has a contagious cough.

  • Runny noses should be clear only—we understand teething can cause some confusion, but we appreciate your caution.

  • Each classroom includes a sanitation station, and all instruments are sanitized between uses.

Remember, unlimited make-ups are available while enrolled!

Cell Phone Usage:

To preserve the class atmosphere, we kindly ask that cell phones be silenced or set to vibrate during class. If you need to take a call, please step outside the classroom. Thank you for helping us maintain a focused, musical environment!

Siblings in Class:

For Foundations, Level 1, and Level 2 classes, we ask that non-enrolled siblings not attend, to support one-on-one parent/child engagement. Exceptions can be made for very young infants in carriers. Older siblings may occasionally attend (e.g., on school holidays) and may be invited to join by the educator. If not participating, we ask they enjoy a quiet, independent activity in the back of the classroom.

Make-up classes:

Make-ups for the same level may be scheduled through the Parent Portal or by emailing our Studio Care Concierge, Ms. Marie, at overtonmusicstudios2@gmail.com.

As a reminder:

  • Make-ups are unlimited while enrolled.

  • They expire when enrollment ends.

  • Make-ups cannot be transferred to another season (e.g., February make-ups cannot be used during summer camps).

Enrollment Agreement:

With enrollment, you agree to the following:

  • I release Overton Music Studios and its staff from any and all liability in the event of injury to myself or my child during classes.

  • I grant permission for class photographs to be used in studio marketing.

  • I agree to receive E-news from Overton Music Studios and Kindermusik International.

Snow Day & Winter Weather:

We follow Omaha Public Schools for weather-related closings. If OPS cancels school, our in-person classes will move to live Zoom sessions.

Please note:

  • If OPS announces a delayed start, we will still transition to Zoom, rather than delay class.

  • Be sure to watch for after-school cancellations, which impact late afternoon, evening, and Saturday classes.

Refund Policy:

  • The registration fee is non-refundable and covers materials and administrative processing.

  • Tuition is non-refundable unless a class is canceled by the studio.

  • Refunds are not issued for missed classes, and tuition may not be carried over to a different month or program.

Privacy Policy:

Your trust is important to us. We do not sell or share your personal information.

We collect information solely for communication and service purposes, such as:

  • Sending class reminders and studio news

  • Providing age-appropriate resources and developmental activities

  • Improving your experience with us and our website

All data is used internally or with trusted partners like Simply Signup for registration. If we request personal information for children, we will always seek parental consent first. We may share general, non-identifiable data (e.g., total number of registered users), but we will never share specific personal information with third parties.

Use of Information:

Information collected by us is used internally by our authorized individuals for three main purposes. First, we may collect information for improving our site by seeing which areas, features, and products are most popular. Second, we may collect information in order to personalize the site for our customers. Third, we may collect personal information from visitors who request additional information about our studio, a Free Preview Class Coupon, or who choose to register for classes online.

We hope that you will want to provide information about yourself, because it will make your experience here more valuable to you. If you are comfortable sharing some basic information, you will receive enhanced services that are impossible to offer to anonymous users. Examples of such services may include email notices of special and discounted items, e-newsletters, and special mailings related to Overton Music Studios, including free developmental activities and special offers.

On occasion, we may also share non-personal, summary information regarding our customers with unrelated third parties (for example, we may publicly disclose the aggregate number of registered users of our web site). However, we will not share any personal information about any particular customer.

Security:

Registering for class online is a completely safe experience!

We use SSL (Secure Sockets Layer)—the highest standard in online encryption technology—to ensure that your personal and credit card information remains secure. SSL encryption allows you to register with confidence, knowing that only you and Overton Music Studios have the ability to access your information.

Keeping customer information private and secure is a top priority.

Whenever you access a secure page on our site, the information you send is immediately encrypted for your protection. There are two simple ways to see if you are on a secure page:

  • Look at the URL (website address) in your browser. If you are connected to a secure server, the URL will always begin with "https" rather than "http."

  • Most browsers display an icon that indicates whether or not you have a secure connection. Look for the unbroken key or closed lock icons in the bottom left or right corner of your browsers.
